This policy explains what information humanize.beer ("we", "us") collects when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Text you submit

When you click Humanize or Check for AI, the text you paste is sent to our server and to third-party services that perform the rewrite and the GPTZero scan.

Humanizer: unless you tick “Don't save mine” under the Humanize button, we keep the text you submit together with its rewrites and GPTZero score. We use it to improve the humanizer, including training our own rewriting models. It is stored without your IP address, browser details or any other identifier. We keep it for up to two years, and we do not sell or publish it.

AI detector: text you check is used only to produce your score and is not kept.

Want something you submitted removed? Email us a passage from it and we'll delete the matching entries.

Please don't paste personal or sensitive information you don't want processed by these services.

Accounts

humanize.beer has no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email address or payment details.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads to keep the site free. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. They never receive the text you paste. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example how many people visit and how often the humanizer is run. It collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, using cookies. It never receives the text you paste. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are only measured with consent. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and to keep the service running.

Children

humanize.beer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
