How humanize.beer works

What happens between clicking Humanize and seeing your result.

1. You paste your text

Paste at least 25 words of English text and pick a mode. The minimum exists because very short passages don't give the rewriter (or a detector) enough to work with.

2. The rewrite

Your text is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to a third-party rewriting engine. The engine rebuilds the text sentence by sentence — varying length and structure, replacing predictable word choices and loosening rigid patterns — while keeping your meaning.

3. Two versions

Direct is the raw rewrite. Polished is the same text with grammar and punctuation cleaned up. Some people prefer Direct because small irregularities read as more human; others want the clean version.

4. The GPTZero scan

The Direct version is scanned by GPTZero and you see two bars: the probability the text is human and the probability it is AI. It's a guide, not a guarantee — see how AI detectors work.

5. The ad

While the rewrite runs, a short video ad plays in the result box. That's how the site stays free. During the first ad you can press Gamble: heads you skip straight to your result, tails you watch one more ad.

6. Your text afterwards

Humanizer text and its rewrite are saved to improve the humanizer, including training our own rewriting model. They are stored without your IP address or any other identifier, and you can opt out with the “Don't save mine” box under the Humanize button. Text you check with the AI detector is not saved. Your text is never sent to our analytics. Details are in the privacy policy.
